Chris started his career with Royal Dutch Shell and in his globe-trotting career held various senior technical, commercial and stakeholder positions before retraining as a lawyer. Together with a Dutch colleague he established a boutique energy law firm; advising on, corporate incorporation, opportunity risk-analysis, joint-ventures, commercial negotiations, contractual issues, dispute resolution, and arbitration. He has also acted as a non-executive and nominated director for various energy companies. He is a member of IGA’s advisory board, using his wide experience both to help IGA with its internal governance and to assist clients.
